The AFL has confirmed that four AFL players are under investigation for betting on AFL matches or events.
The AFL's General Manager of Football Operations, Adrian Anderson, said he had appointed Allan Roberts and Bill Kneebone to investigate potential breaches of the AFL regulations regarding gambling.
Anderson said there was no suggestion any player had bet against his side winning.
